The link below leads to UCAS’s guidance pages, telling you all you need to know about making an undergraduate application.

Postgraduate taught courses

Applications to postgraduate taught courses may be made through UCAS, guidance pages for which can be accessed through the UCAS postgraduate applications link, below.

Alternatively, you may apply to us directly using our own application form. Should you apply directly then the following process applies:

  1. Complete the online application form below.

  2. Upon receiving your application we shall check that it is satisfactory before contacting you to request the relevant documentation.

  3. If your application is successful you may receive a conditional offer or an unconditional offer. If you receive a conditional offer you must meet some further stipulated conditions before you may enrol on the course. If you receive an unconditional offer you have met all conditions required to enrol.

  4. Once you have met the conditions of your offer we shall send you confirmation and request payment of an enrolment deposit, equal to 25% of the tuition fee for home students and 50% for international students. The remaining balance is to be paid in instalments over the course of the academic year.

  5. Upon receipt of the enrolment deposit we shall send you an acceptance letter as confirmation of your place of study at Amity. If you are an international student your confirmation shall take the form of your CAS letter. The CAS letter contains our sponsor license number and a unique CAS number which you will need in order to apply for a visa.

Postgraduate research courses

Doctoral applications have a separate admission process which involves the submission of a research proposal and the pairing of potential students with a suitable supervisor.

For a guide to applying, please see the doctoral applications page within the research section of this website.

Contextual admission

Amity is committed to admitting students who have the potential to succeed and benefit from our programmes of study. We believe that a diverse student body makes for a more interesting and dynamic learning environment and brings benefits to our student population as a whole. However, we also recognise that student learner journeys differ considerably, as does the level of support, advice and guidance available to students.

Whilst academic grades remain the primary tool in assessing academic ability, there is increasing evidence in the higher educator sector that universities should consider more than academic achievement alone when making admission decisions.

The university has therefore implemented a contextual admission policy, that aims to take account of these differences in background, acknowledge the context in which a student has achieved their academic grades, and thereby better identify students with the potential to succeed in higher education.
