Specification

The Programme Administrator is responsible for providing a high quality service to students on Amity's wide range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and professional courses and to academic staff within the University.

The Programme Administrator will undertake a range of administrative responsibilities to underpin the smooth running of Amity's programmes; this includes working closely with academic staff to support them and our students. You will deliver a high level of customer care, providing efficient information and advice in person, writing and by telephone. You will advise students and academic staff on regulations, procedures and services, create and maintain comprehensive student records using the University's student record system, SMS, and undertake all administrative duties in relation to assessment.

You will ideally be a graduate or have equivalent experience. You will have high standards of numeracy and literacy and be highly IT literate with excellent MS Office skills. You will have the ability to establish good working relationships with staff, students and external bodies, be able to work in an efficient and organised manner, be able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and have strong attention to detail. You will be self-motivated with a flexible positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure on your own initiative and as part of a busy team.
